The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 116-107 to move to 3-0 in the series and knock on the door of a first-round sweep.
Doncic and Irving Lead the Way
Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving scored 33 points apiece and the Dallas Mavericks made all the big plays late again beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107 on Saturday night to take a 3-0 lead in their first-round playoff series.
The Mavericks can close out the series in Game 4 on Monday night in Minnesota. The Timberwolves have lost 10 straight playoff games dating to the 2018 Western Conference semifinals.
Doncic also had 12 rebounds and 7 assists, while Irving added 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 points, and Dorian Finney-Smith added 18 points for Dallas.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Edwards scored 20 points, and Jaden McDaniels added 19 points.
